Lymphatic drainage

Body lymphatic drainage is a type of massage that uses slow movements, much different from other techniques, to stimulate the circulation of lymph in the body and restore balance. Blockages of the lymphatic system occur due to various causes, including a sedentary lifestyle, poor diet, lack of hydration or stress.

These blockages prevent the proper circulation of lymph, which leads to water retention, the feeling of heavy limbs and an uneven appearance of the skin, such as cellulite. The immune system is also affected, as toxins accumulated in different areas of the body are not eliminated efficiently, making the body prone to infections.

The main benefits of this type of massage are the elimination of toxins from the body, supporting the optimal functioning of the immune system, reducing inflammation (edema, including in post-operative cases), reducing water retention and improving skin texture.
